If you’re running high-speed Husky HyPET lines, you already know the struggle. Your preforms are flying through that oven so fast that standard IR lamps just can’t keep up. Most lamps only warm up the “skin” of the plastic, leaving the middle cold. That’s a recipe for disaster. We built our IR lamps to fix exactly that. The trick is all in how the heat moves. If your blow-mold cooling isn’t up to the task, the ambient temperature in the oven will start to climb. If that happens, your preforms might start to deform before they even hit the blow stage.
